The Jonnycake Center's Emergency Food Pantry provides food to individuals and families who are having a hard time making ends meet. We also provide assistance with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP - formerly known as the Food Stamp Program) applications to anyone who needs it, in order to ensure that everyone receives as much help as possible each month.

WHAT TO BRING THE FIRST TIME YOU VISIT or TO RECERTIFY:
* Proof of residency - Must live in South Kingstown or Narragansett. * Your identification card (driver's license, etc) with current address. * Your spouse's identification card (if applicable) with current address. * Your children's birth certificates if they are not in school, or medical cards (if applicable). * Children school age or older need proof they reside at the same address as applicant. * Copy of letter from school if your children participate in the free/assisted meal program.
APPLYING FOR THE SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SNAP)
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP - formerly known as Food Stamps) applications are available at the Jonnycake Center, and we are happy to help you complete these forms. You can also complete an application for Food Stamps at home or online.
