Support the Jonnycake Market (food pantry)
We accept donations of non-perishable food any day, any time in the blue bins on our front porch at 22 Kersey Road in Peace Dale. Items that are always in high demand are Soups, Cereal, and Snacks! Please see below for a complete list of suggested food donations.
Financial donations are also a great help. If you would like to donate for the purchase of food please fill out the form below and write “food programs” in the additional comments section. No donation is too small, thank you for your support!

#EveryBitHelps
“…visits have been up nearly 80 percent, as many local residents face myriad issues, including allocating money for rising heating and electric bills while cutting the amount spent on food.” – Kate Brewster, CEO
Attention donors: Our automatic reply email for online donations is down. As we work to fix this, please know that an acknowledgement letter will be sent in the mail. If you would like an email confirmation sooner please contact Kim at karundel@jonnycakecenter.org or call 401-515-7284. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Supporting the Jonnycake Market helps to provide a host of services to our members.
The Jonnycake Market is a member-choice food pantry that provides Members with a chance to “shop” in a grocery store type setting. Annually, over 2,200 individuals rely on our food programs, and that number continues to rise. Because of your support, we are able to provide fresh produce, meats and poultry, eggs and milk, non-perishable items, cereal, bread, and a host of other items.
Routine Shopping
Members can visit the Market twice a month for a week’s worth of groceries during our regular Market hours.
School Vacations
Households with school-age children qualify for weekly groceries during school vacation weeks. This includes cereal, bread, milk, snacks, and other breakfast and lunch items.
Healthy Harvest
From July until September, members can pick-up fresh produce weekly.
Grocery Deliveries
Each week our amazing team of volunteers takes orders, packs and delivers groceries to our homebound community members. Close to 80 households are currently receiving this service.
