Off Site Volunteer Opportunities

Due to space constraints we are not able to accommodate families and children, students, businesses, faith-based and civic groups who want to volunteer. However, there are many ways you can support our work. Scroll down for ideas.

We are grateful for your interest. If you have questions, please email Kim at karundel@jonnycakecenter.org.

Collect Something We Need

Host a drive with your family, friends, neighbors, students, or co-workers to collect something we need on a regular basis:

  • Non-perishable food items such as peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna and chicken, healthy snacks, cereal, extra virgin olive oil, pasta and rice, canned fruit and vegetables
  • Cooking and children’s books for all ages
  • Holiday gifts (Nov – Dec) including toys, sports equipment, gift cards and winter clothing

Deliver what you collect to our main building at 22 Kersey Road, Peace Dale, RI 02879.

Contact us for help with signs for your collection.
